Treating Diabetes With Okra

It was learned over a TV program that the treatment of Sugar (Diabetes) is effective with Okra (also known as Lady Finger).

A proven remedy to cure diabetes

Okra was tried and the diabetic found it effective as his Sugar is in control now.

This is how Okra is prepared and taken:

1. Take two pieces of Lady Finger and remove/cut both ends of each piece.
2. Make a small cut in the middle.
3. Place these two pieces in glass of water.
4. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night.
5. Early in the following morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady finger from the glass and drink the water.

This has to be done on daily.

Results should appear within two weeks. There will be a remarkable reduction in the blood sugar level.

In another diabetic patient, she got rid of her diabetes. She was on Insulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months, she was able to stop Insulin treatment and she continues to take the lady fingers every day.

In this woman’s case, she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, adds the water and drinks it all up the next morning.

Anyone out there who suffers from Diabetes should give this a try. If it does not do much good, it will not do you any harm even if it does not do much good to you.

Depending on how serious the Diabetes, the length of this treatment will vary and could possibly last for a few months before tangible results are seen.

i will let the hubby read your posts, lainz. we’ve been “seriously” keeping watch of his sugar. he’s not taking any meds, thankfully.
besides, he wouldn’t have trouble with the okras. while i do…because it’s one of those veggies that i loathe (i don’t know why).

thanks for the tip! i will keep this in mind coz we have diabetes in our family medical history. i didn’t know that you can just drink the water the okra was submerged in…what i know is you have to eat the okra as salad or in law-uy(dunno the english term hehehe). i think the method you shared here is more convenient to apply so i’ll share it with my family :)

I love okra, one of my favorite vegetables, and so glad to know that this could help diabetes. you are right, because okra is a vegetable, it could not do as harm if we drink it this way if we have diabetes. I’ll sure keep this info Lainy, I am not hoping I will get one, but this is great to share to friends and family who may be affected by diabetes.

Wow! I didn’t know Okra some good health benefits too.

I am a diabetic, myself yet I don’t eat okra since I was toddler. But, for my health’s sake, maybe, I should just start eating okra! :)

Thanks for the very helpful information! ;)

My mom loves okra! Whenever we go to the market, yun talaga ang unang hinahanap nya. She was the one who told me about the advantages of Okra. Unfortunately, hindi ako mahilig sa okra. :(

Thanks for sharing this post sis. My dad used to eat this to subdue his diabetes aside from weight loss and limiting his food intake to the healthy ones. He was off diabetes medication after some time but I remember how he would eat this lady fingers like it was chocolate cake. :)
