In a country where the voting populace is easily swayed by iconoclasm, contemporary celebrities and of course wealth, Filipino World boxing champion Manny Pacquiao easily won his ticket in the recent National Elections.
So as it was reported, Manny will undergo a one week crash course.
“I will study for one week so I will understand the protocol in Congress,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN television aired on Thursday
One week? Like anywhere else in the world, even veteran Parliamentarians are groping with the statutes and protocol in their hallowed Parliament.
However, Manny’s emphasis must sharply focus on his pre-Election promises in his impoverished southern province of Sarangani. If only he can stay on course and not allow ill advice to de-rail his political vision.
Vaulting ambition and the gumption that as a the new kid in town he will be able to rectify social injustice might prove to be Manny’s political undoing in the end.
Manny Pacquiao said on Thursday he will vie for the chairmanship of the committee on energy at the House of Representatives, and help resolve the power crisis gripping Mindanao
.First things first Manny! if you ever get to read this. Leading and governing effectively is never to be misconstrued to imposing one’s personality but rather to an effective delegation of responsibility with full accountability to the public.

First of all welcome back to blogging world Mr. Windy.
I got so much to say about politics, but I opt not to. All I can say is “common law” exercise it and get shot or get rich following what is learned in congress (corruption…huh what!)…lol
I am very happy to see you around.

@ Nedekcir.
WOW! real nice to have you visit my Blog.
I returned to blog to learn more about the Magazine Theme. Just blogging at a casual pace nowadays.
Yes, indeed…there’s nothing noble about being a politician. It’s what I might call, legalized gangsterism.
Cheers!
