With the passing away of the retired Arm Forces of the Philippines’ Chief of Staff Angelo Reyes, the Filipino nation felt the sorrow and personally, I felt like I was deprived of knowing the truth. Reyes could have been the key to resolving the quandary in the AFP.
Yet, it seemed like the problem was too huge for him to face. He preferred to end up everything by taking his own life. He shot himself at his chest which was the cause of his untimely death.
What if the pistol was kept at the gunvault, would things change differently?

Apart from the fact that the archipelago of islands straddle on the volcanic ring of fire and lies in the path of the seasonal typhoons, those are just not the only unsafe places anywhere in the Philippines.
What about the pickpockets, snatch thieves, thugs and the dangers that lurk wherever there is a potential victim, armed secessionists, terrorists and political vendettas to stay clear?
Even if you go about doing what you’re paid to do, such as to report the truth as a media reporter, it comes with a fatal price.
For the peaceful tourists who besides having their share of fun time with the lovely Filipinas in flesh joints, they have been known to be unjustly accused of felony and forced to become hostages for a ransom by a rogue ex-policeman.
Ah! rogue policeman. That’s the definitive term.
If you were told that it is safer to be in Afghanistan than in the Philippines, you would probably laugh and fall off your chair.
Well, really now, you shouldn’t think that rationale is entirely stupid. You see over in Afghanistan there’s a war raging. Some innocents die but hey! there’s a war going on. It’s a war man! what do you expect? Innocent lives take a hit. The Americans coined the term, “collateral damage” for that doggoneit misdirected missile at a school building or a hospital.
However, in the Philippines, there isn’t a war raging. It is peacetime in the Philippines as we’d like to think so. Ask President Noynoy if his country is at war and he will flatly deny it. So would the Department of Tourism and Filipinos in general.
The country is safe. You and I would wish it is safe especially if we were in the Headquarters of the Manila Police Department. We would as we believe right inside the most secure and safe place in all of Manila.
Yes! indeed. You could even say that a mosquito attempting to spread dengue fever inside the MPD Headquarters would be brought down by bazooka fire.
But as it turns out, there isn’t a safe place left in the Philippines by the account of a woman who was raped and robbed by a rogue police officer at the MPD Headquarters.

Facial care and treatment has become a huge interest in my town. That is going by the number of new care centers that has been sprouting all over the town.
It is not only the women folk that are into it as would be expected. Now even the men are a large percentage of the clientele at these centers.
Much of the reason for it is because there are acne treatments that actually work and these Centers are providing treatment for acne troubled persons.

3 killed in ambulance mishap on Skyway

A cancer patient and his wife were killed early morning yesterday after the ambulance they were riding crashed into a toll plaza booth of the Skyway portion in Taguig City.
Sketchy investigation report showed that the ambulance, instead of passing through the tollgate designated for ambulance and fire truck, passed and rammed into the Tollgate 6 of Skyway’s northbound portion about 6:10 a.m.

I had a chance to read a review about the first 100 Days in Office of the President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino.

You know what is wrong with these kind of reviews? Yes, you are right. It’s all about what they did right or half right. With the promise to complete the rest of the half undone, provided there is a second term in Office for the incumbent President. Now, that is working smart!
Yes, you are right again. It’s all about self-acclamation. Who needs to know what are the failures? It would just mess up everything even before anything is attempted, so shut the F’ up will yuh!
Now, I have two bones to pick with my beloved President.
1. Who’s the Leader?
President Aquino promised yesterday the dawning of real change and to make the people his “only boss,” as he rallied them to unite since “we’re all in this together.”
President Nono, (I meant Noynoy) this is stupid! The people equals anarchy. You can’t call over 60 million Filipinos your only boss. They will have you for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper and you would not last more than ONE DAY in Office.
You are The BOSS. Matter of fact, The ONLY Boss. You lead and the rest of the 60 million Filipinos follow, since “they’re are all in this together” with you come hell, come fire!
That you meant to say you are here to serve the citizens of your Country, say it thus, “I am in duty bound to serve my Citizens and my Nation!” but don’t say it with some high baloney patronizing!
2. What about Corruption?
P-Noy says that the problem with corruption is the lack of political will to implement the laws that would fight it.
Oh President NoNo! not again! No can do! What do you mean lack of political will to implement…?
You don’t mean to imply that all the King’s horses and all the King’s men could not put Humpty Dumpty back together again?
But wasn’t this one of the reasons why you DID win the campaign to become President? You proudly impressed with all Filipinos that you are the man who will stamp out Corruption throughout the land. You did not forewarn them about the your lack of political will during your campaign trail.
Mr. President, if your personal appointed Ministers and their Deputies lack the political will, who else in the land has it besides you? Ah! you probably meant the Catholic Bishops might be capable substitutes. But Sir! they are great antagonists when it deals with sex related issues like the Condom, Abortion, What women should NOT wear, etc., I am not too sure about their ability to contain Corruption.
