When Juniors Fight In The Philippines

Said President Aquino Jr…

Said Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr…

Why the need for this kind of meaningless hyperbole?

Says Windy…

In the first instance, both these two gentlemen are equally disillusioned and both are off track with their socio-economic and political perception with their given claims.

This is why so.

When the Phil police are no better than thugs and corrupt to their marrow. When murders are rampant and justice is somewhere in Foreverland. When the Military brass and their wives are public coffer looters. That’s as good as Libya right at home, Mr. President.

And Sen. Marcos Jr, had your father never been deposed, your mom would have monopolized the entire shoe industry and turned the Philippines into Shoengapore today.

For those who are very familiar with the background of EDSA and the deposed Marcos, Sr, it is apparent that both our Juniors continue to live with claims of “my Dad is better than your Dad”.

Sad indeed for the Philippines though ironic that while both these Juniors are berating about “anything your Dad could do, my Dad could do better”, do they realize that they are beneficiaries and proponents of the nepotistic ideology, typical of Asian power politics?
