For you who are unaware of the fact that I am into postcards, please know that postcard exchange is one of my hobbies. And how it gives me satisfaction! I find delight in the fact that traveling the world is made possible by exchanging postcards from all over.
I can still recall when I got hold of my first ever postcard. I almost jumped with glee! It was from the United States of America. Who wouldn’t be happy when you got two postcards all at once? Add to the fact that it was sent by a good friend of mine.
From then on, I made my presence felt in some online postcard sites where exchanging of postal details was the norm. To receive the cards a few weeks from the exchange of postal details made me more ecstatic. I even put up a blog especially for the cards received and sent out. I am obviously a happy postcrosser.
As a matter of fact, I contacted a person from here who got lots of photos of our place. I thought of personalizing my postcards. He told me that he will take charge of everything, from the layouting and the postcard printing. I felt too excited. However, I got sidetracked with some other offline activities. Which reminds me, I need to follow it up with him. I also contacted my co-worker to do some enhancements on all the personal captures I’ve got that depicts the beautiful city I live in. I can’t anymore do it because first, I don’t have the skills, and second, even of I do have the skills in layouting, I don’t have the spare time. As I speak, I have a lot of online and offline tasks that needs to be accomplished.
Anyhow, I will always find the time to exercise my passion for postcard exchange. This week, I have quite a bunch of postcards to send out and yes! I am hoping to receive some in return
