It can become bewildering whenever my family gets into discussions about making improvements to our home. Apart from the cost factor, it is difficult for me to understand the need of some of the items that is hotly argued about.
Take for example the bathroom fans. It has never dawned on me why there is a need to install one in our bathroom.
However, it all made sense to me when my eldest brother explained that installing one would help to ventilate the air inside the bathroom because the door is often left closed. One more benefit is that it would help keep the floor drier more easily.
It is good once I understand what benefit there is because it helps to decide whether it is sensible to pay for house improvements
