The Kitchen floor space isn’t large and somewhat rectangularly odd. So, it’s quite a challenge managing it. This is what Windy related to me in my mailbox.
Windy was advised against installing hanging wall cabinets owing to the kitchen table top making it difficult to reach the cabinets and the wall bricks being hollow – it won’t be strong enough to hold wood cabinets even with the use of wall plugs..
So, he had to carefully choose the spots in the kitchen where storage cabinets could be placed and without being obstructive.
Cabinets
The kitchen table was given acrylic sliding doors beneath it.
Side cabinet
The louvered window panes were yanked out and replaced with a sliding window. When the sliding window is opened, it greatly improved the ventilation in the kitchen when Windy cooks.
Added an electric oven and moved the microwave oven to make more space for the rice cooker. LOL!
