The Post title is self explanatory. Or is it? That statement clearly advertised by the Blog owner is not to be questioned unless of course the stupid Award presenter is some Chinaman or Eskimo who does not read English but loves returning to feed on the titillating Blog images that he thinks the Blogger deserves an Award.
But before I proceed further, let’s agree first about the definition of the term, “Blog Award”.
A Blog award is an award for the best blog in a given category. Some blog awards are based on a public vote and others are based on a fixed set of criteria applied by a panel of judges.

Now, if you care to disagree with that definition – tough luck. It stays.
Apparently, elsewhere in Blogosphere there is a small storm in a teacup over the sanctimonius attitude of a Blogger who despite having displayed his aversion for Blog Awards, he has inexplicably accepted Blog Awards and other Blog Award Nominations.
No, I beg your pardon, I shall retract that statement. I am wrong. He actually has explained his position. He redefined what a Blog Award means. But of course, his explanation has a mysticism that defies logic. In short it amounts to explaining why some Blog Awards are acceptable and some are not. You could say that it equals to if not does better than the way a man goes about choosing the woman he desires to marry. And after marrying, he clamours for more women, clandestinely.
Oh! you could call that eccentricity. You could also say that it smacks of a highly discerning mind which this world is sorely in need of. And you could also accept that he is a ONE HELLUVA ASSHOLE!
There are other reasons beholden to a Blogger who says one thing and then does something that only he and his Blog can ever get to the bottom of what he does not believe in.
Do I really care if a Blogger does not participate in Blog Awards? No, but yes, when it reflects a Blogger who is a conceited hypocrite. Of course, it is the Blogger’s own bloody business to do what he wishes.
But for Christ’s sake what does it profit a Blogger to gain the whole of Blogosphere and lose his Blog soul?
Dream on Blogger who doesn’t participate in Blog Awards!
