It’s now time to resume featuring all the embellishments at Windy’s new sweet abode.
I knew for myself how Windy worked hard at every nook and cranny of his new home. Even the paintings he did it for himself. The house was fully painted when he moved in. However, he had to change some of the color combinations to suit his taste. He had to buy a really good quality paint. I was surprised to know that it’s odorless. Must be real expensive, huh!
I can imagine the amount of work done on the photo above! Windy worked the entire day just to make sure he got the correct measurement for each. I knew it coz he informed me right after the job was finally completed, LOL!
What I like in the photo finish was the figurine of a boy and a girl closely sitting beside each other. How sweet!
And oh!
I spotted the wedding souvenir of my brother (the glass round figurine beside the yellow green something) that I gave Windy when we’ve met in JB, Malaysia during my last visit. Being my brother and my SIL’s Godfather, he can’t be forgotten. I was touched to see that he kept it even when he moved to his new house
The title of this post reminded me of the articles that had long been published at the defunct blog, Siren of Sea. I was back reading some posts earlier and it ate up most of my time, LOL! You might wonder how I did so when it has long been deleted by Windy. Well, I followed the blog via Google Connect and thus, I can easily keep track of all the posts at Google Reader even when it’s deleted. So cool, ain’t right?
It’s at that blog where Windy revealed himself to the world writing about The Sand in an Hourglass, So Are the Days of My Life. These articles were Windy’s mini biography series. It covered 6 long decades of his life. In between the narration of his life’s saga, I began to understand Windy’s personality and character better. If you’ve failed to read them, you will fail to understand the depth of Windy’s personality.
Though I have been warned by Windy himself to be cautious in wearing my heart in my sleeves at the blogs, I sometimes feel compelled to write something about me and the home that molded my person. Just like the title of this post, it’s in the home where every story begins.
So please bear with me if I love sharing more about me and my home; but for this blog, it shall be Windy and his new home :-)
