Going A Full Circle

I have related it before; about how I began blogging. It was a humble furtive start using blogspot’s Blogger for about four months before I decided to migrate to blogging with WordPress from an external webhost Account.

During the past two years I have had two periods when I was forced to stop blogging. Having begun with “Windmill of my Mind”, I returned with “The Fool on The Hill”. Some of my blogpals insisted that Windmill or Windy remain. Hence, a compromise  -  “Windmill on the Hill”.

Around February till April 2010, I did a short stint as co-Author at Lainy’s Musings at the invitation of Lainy. Then I decided to stop for a third time.

What brought me back to blog this time?

Patrick who is Lainy’s Boss blogs from Bottom Lines.  He renewed his Domain license recently and I felt that his Blog needed a makeover. I chose a WordPress Magazine Theme and found that it had several features that are above the usual WordPress Blog scripts.

The Magazine Theme whets my interest. I have never used the Magazine Theme before.

Going a full circle.

My Geometry teacher in High School once explained to us the explanation of genius and madness. While drawing a full circle on the class blackboard, he went on to explain that it shows the fullness of intelligence as the individual achieves.

When the circle nears completion, man’s intelligence becomes irrational or what we sometimes term the mad genius.

Symbolic meaning of a circle

Apart from that rather humorous explanation delivered by my High School Geometry teacher, we know that through the Ages, a circle has lent itself to inexhaustible meanings. From Art to Spirituality, mankind has given the circle universal attributes.

Leonardo da Vinci in his famed drawing captured the perfect dimensions of the human body within a circle.

My Blog circle

Thus, here I am again, blogging but with a different motive than what it used to be. Although I am not formally schooled in I.T and Internet stuff, I have learned through lots of error and  trial, plain common sense and a keen interest in the various scripts and that support a Blog.

As you have noticed, I am back with The Fool on The Hill and respectfully correct with the Domain name that I had registered for it a year ago. It’s nearing the completion of a circle.

You can expect some madness minus genius.
