I read this explanation…
Well…. let me ask you one thing, can you explain why you love someone? you may be able to tell them what it is that you love about them, but what you love about them and why you love them are two different things, personally, I find that I can’t explain why I love the person, I just do, now what I love about them are; their personality, their smile, their kind heartedness, and so on, I could go on for ever, but when you are in doubt, ask yourself this one question, “Why do i love him?”…. if the question comes to you QUICKLY, then you are not in love, if you have no idea, and feel confusion, but certainty at the same time, you may be in love.
So, its not what you would do for the person, but why you would do it, its not what you say to that person, its why you say it. you cant seem to be away from them, you cant stop thinking about them, but that is just one part of it, I believe that when they do make a mistake, or you make a mistake, that you would be able to just look past it and move on, when you can just say “so? you messed up? it is ok, I forgive you.”. Not those exact words but the general idea behind them.
When you can just look into each others eyes and know exactly what they are thinking, that is how I know I love the person that I do, and how I know he loves me, and when you love someone, it should be necessary to say “I love you” all the time, it may be nice to hear, but say it when you think the time is right, and it will be much more worth it.
And there was so much more that followed it. Just too long for this article.
Then comes the the perennial question, How do you know that it is Love (in the first place)?
And I found this…
1. When, at the beginning of the day, you are already filled with thoughts of the other person: what he/she is doing, how he/she looks, what you could do to make him/her smile today… when something good or nice happens to you, you always think of how you must share this with him/her, be it a funny story or a moment of your triumph. You always wish that he/she would be right there with you, but even if he/she isn’t, it’s okay because you know that soon you will be together and you anticipate that. No moment, no matter how dull it seems like simply watching TV together, is ever a wasted moment. Every minute counts when you’re with that person.
And much more that followed after Number 1.
What do you think is this confounded thing, called Love?

On September 3, President Aquino took over control of the Philippine National Police (PNP) after senior police officials admitted serious lapses were committed in the hostage crisis in Manila that left eight Hong Kong tourists dead.
“I will retain for the interim control over the PNP,” he said. “I will retain direct supervision of the PNP until such time that all other concerns have been addressed.”

Sounds terrific, Mr. President. Hope it does not take your entire first term in Office to address “all other concerns”. It could also serve for a convincing second term in Office if you can’t get it all done in time.
Incidentally, Mr. President, international and public confidence is not reliant solely on an individual but rather on the premise that there is a system that is clean, effective and empowers responsibility to the right candidate.

Scientists studied 14 plant foods commonly consumed in Mexico to determine their ability to halt breast cancer cell growth. These included avocado, black sapote,
guava, mango, prickly pear cactus (nopal), pineapple, grapes, tomato, and papaya. They also evaluated beta-carotene, total plant phenolics, and gallic acid contents and antioxidant capacity. They found that only papaya had a significant effect on stopping breast cancer cell growth. (International Journal of Food Science and Nutrition, May)
Papaya is a store-house of cancer fighting lycopene
The intense orangey-pink color of papaya means it is chock full of cancer fighting carotenoids. Not only beta carotene, but lycopene is found in abundance. The construction of lycopene makes it highly reactive toward oxygen and free radicals.
Scientists at the University of Illinois think this anti-oxidant activity contributes to its effectiveness as a cancer fighting agent. Epidemiological studies have indicated an inverse relationship between lycopene intake and prostate cancer risk. They showed that oral lycopene is highly bioavailable, accumulates in prostate tissue, and is localized in the nucleus of prostate epithelial cells.
In addition to antioxidant activity, other experiments have indicated that lycopene induces cancer cell death, anti-metastatic activity, and the up-regulation of protective enzymes. Phase I and II studies have established the safety of lycopene supplementation. (Cancer Letter, October 8, 2008)
Prostate cancer was the subject of a study in Australia that looked at 130 prostate cancer patients and 274 hospitalized controls. The scientists found that men who consumed the most lycopene-rich fruits and vegetables such as papaya were 82% less likely to have prostate cancer. In this study, green tea also exerted a powerful anti-cancer effect. When lycopene-rich foods were consumed with green tea, the combination was even more effective, an outcome the researchers credited to their synergy. (Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2007)
Isothiocyanates found in papaya restore the cell cycle to eliminate cancer
Organo-sulfur compounds called isothiocyanates are found in papaya. In animal experiments, isothiocyanates protected against cancers of the breast, lung, colon pancreas, and prostate, as well as leukemia, and they have the potential to prevent cancer in humans. Isothiocyanates have shown themselves capable of inhibiting both the formation and development of cancer cells through multiple pathways and mechanisms. (International Journal of Oncology), October, 2008)
Researchers in Japan clarified the mechanisms of action in a type of isothiocyanate found in papaya known as BITC, that underlies the relationship between cell cycle regulation and appropriate cell death. When cancerouscells die on schedule, they are no longer a problem. The researchers established that BITC exerted cancer cell killing effects that were greater in the proliferating cells than in the quiescent cells. Cancer cells that are proliferating are much more dangerous than cancer cells that are in a state of dormancy. (Forum of Nutrition, 2009)
Enzymes from papaya digest proteins includingthose that protect tumors
The fruit and other parts of the papaya tree, also known as the paw paw tree, contain papain and chymopapain, powerful proteolytic enzymes that facilitate chemical reactions in the body. They promote digestion by helping to break down proteins from food into amino acids that can be recombined to produce protein useable by humans. Proteolyticenzymes protect the body from inflammation and help heal burns. They do a good job of digesting unwanted scar tissue both on the skin and under its surface.
Research has shown that the physical and mental health of people is highly dependent on their ability to produce proteins they can use effectively. However, as people age, they produce less of the enzymes needed to effectively digest proteins from food and free needed amino acids. They are left with excessive amounts of undigested protein which can lead to overgrowth of unwanted bacteria in the intestinal tract, and a lack of available amino acids.
Eating papaya after a meal promotes digestion, and helps prevent bloating, gas production, and indigestion. It is quite helpful after antibiotic use to replenish friendly intestinal bacteria that were the casualties in the war against the unwanted bacteria. When the intestinal tract is well populated with friendly bacteria, the immune system is strengthened, and can better protect against flu and cancer.
Being a proteolytic enzyme, papain is able to destroy intestinal parasites, which are composed mostly of protein. To rid the body of intestinal parasites, half a cup of papaya juice can be alternated each hour for twelve consecutive hours with the same amount of cucumber or green bean juice.
Papaya contains fibrin, another useful compound not readily found in the plant kingdom. Fibrin reduces the risk of blood clots and improves the quality of blood cells, optimizing the ability of blood to flow through the circulatory system. Fibrin isalso important in preventing strokes. Proteolytic enzymes containing fibrin are a good idea for long plane rides to minimize the potential of blood clots in the legs. People who sit at a desk all day might want to use proteolytic enzymes too.
Proteolytic enzymes are able to digest and destroy the defense shields of viruses, tumors, allergens, yeasts, and various forms of fungus. Once the shield is destroyed, tumors and invading organisms are extremely vulnerable and easily taken care of by the immune system.
Undigested proteins can penetrate the gut and wind up in the bloodstream where they are treated by the immune system as invaders. If too many undigested proteins are floating around, the immune system becomes overburdened and unable to attend to the other tasks it was meant to do. Proteolytic enzymes can digest these rogue proteins, freeing up the immune system.

Though it is several months since I returned from my happiest ever vacation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I can’t help reminiscing about the wonderful experience that I had during my vacation there. Even though it was for two nights that my four friends and I spent there, we were all taken aback by the charm and beauty of Malaysia and that has such wonderful Malaysians like Windy and Jimmy.
Windy as some of you already know, is a Blogger whom I met and befriended for over two years now. Jimmy is the sweetheart of Star who blogs from A Maiden’s Testimony.
I have also written about my vacation experience at my other Blogs but I still feel that it deserves more and better. To me, it is one of those events in one’s life that can never be diminished with the passage of time.
Firstly, being a first time arrival in Malaysia, I found the place and the people courteous. None of us experienced anything disagreeable or unsafe and that is a huge plus when we read about regrettable experiences of other travellers. We arrived during the wee hours of the morning at the Kuala Lumpur Airport and it was good because the weather was cool.
It became even cooler as we headed from the Airport towards Genting Highlands Resort by road. Jimmy was at the Airport to meet us and the five of us packed into his car for our ride to the stupendous Resort in the mountains.
Simultaneously, Windy was also making his journey towards Genting Resort Highlands that same night and we would meet him. Frankly, Star and Lollii, her daughter who is also a Blogger at I Am Loved, and I could not contain our excitement because moments before we left Manila for Kuala Lumpur, it appeared that we would not have the opportunity to meet Windy. However, just before we boarded our plane, Windy texted me a short message to inform me that he was going to travel by bus to Kuala Lumpur and meet us at Genting Highlands Resort.

It was like we received an energy booster shot in our arms. I related a lot about Windy to the other two friend, Ate Tess and Kathleen who are not Bloggers because they could hardly understand why there was such an excitement shared amongst Ate Vilma, Lollii and I. At least now, they had a background about who this person, Windy is.
As it turned out, Windy arrived at the Hotel Lobby before we did and he waited patiently. We broke our journey to Genting as we were hungry. Jimmy feted us to Malaysian food which we found very palatable.
The moment we alighted at the Hotel, the girls were astounded by the beauty of the Resort Hotel. The premises is huge and beautifully designed. There they went like frenzied shutterbugs instead of heading right into the Hotel Lobby to find Windy.
After a couple of photo snaps, I could not resist entering the Hotel Lobby to find where Windy was. I saw a man of medium built and slightly taller than I. He stood there with his back facing me. My intuition knew it was him in the throng of hundreds of hotel guests that were at the Lobby.
I yelled out his name, “WINDYYYYY” and he turned around towards the source of the yell when he heard being called.

The immediate impression that I had seeing him live in person, it resembled what I often pictured him from the Blogs he used to manage. Alarmingly unassuming, simple in appearance, intelligent face and bright eyes, Windy let out a wide and warm smile as he opened his arms wide and said to me, “Here’s my chance to hug and kiss you.” Spunky in real life as he is when he writes at his Blogs.
I turned suddenly nervous despite all the excitement that preceded, having the opportunity to meet this man, Windy.
He is indeed a woman’s man. Always cheerful, he kept ripping away with his wit. The others who finally caught up with me stood there studying him like he was an animal at a Zoo. Windy has an effortless way to keep his friends unnerved and we felt as though he was right in the Philippines with us.
We were kept waiting at the Hotel Check-in as there were lots of arrivals. Although excited by what we saw, we did feel the heaviness of the hours of travel. Windy too made a long dash to be in Genting. So we were all feeling rather heavy but Windy never let up and kept us lively with his humor.
Finally we had our Check-in completed by the Desk operator and we headed to the elevator to get us to our rooms.
Then guess what Windy was up to next? He sped ahead of us and tried but in vain to get a pack of sanitary pads for Star. Can you imagine this man? He keeps thinking steps ahead of everything that happens around him.
More to follow in my next Article. Stay tuned.

There are dead people and several others seriously injured, and this Mayor of Manila is splitting hairs.
I ordered them to handcuff him, but there was no order to make an arrest.
Manila Mayor, Alfredo Lim told a press conference at the Manila City Hall.
Gone are the days, when the King himself rode on his horse and led his warriors into battle. Today, we have leaders who are nothing better than armchair managers whose behinds are glued to their seats and are rarely seen at the scene when there is a crisis.
Lim said his intention was only to restrict Gregorio and prevent him from interfering further during the negotiations.
Then comes the Joke of the Century!!!
Lim also pointed out that his orders to handcuff Gregorio were not carried out because “they (MPD) still have to look for handcuffs.”
And a dash of face saving…
Gregorio was struggling with his colleagues while being dragged to a waiting police car. Another policeman managed to secure a pair of handcuffs from the nearby precinct at the Rizal Park.
As the police were to about to handcuff Gregorio, Lim said he prevented them and ordered the lawmen to bring Gregorio to the MPD General Assignments Section for investigation.
So, Mr. Mayor Lim
What exactly did you order or re-order and in your rigmarole of armchair managing, you now have become an accessory for the death of innocent Hong Kong tourists because…
Observers said what might have triggered the killing of the hostages was when Mendoza saw his younger brother being arrested on television.
